Wringer Roll Unit

Function To remove any excessive rolling fluid from the strip after it exits the mill. Features Consists of a deflector roll, a pair of wringer rolls and a roll change car. The deflector roll is between the mill exit tensiometer and the wringer rolls to ensure a constant wrap around the tensiometer roll. The upper wringer roll pivots, actuated by a pair of cylinders, this deflects the strip down onto the lower wringer roll, which is fixed. A car running on wheels will be supplied for the lower wringer roll changing, the rolls chocks being equipped with wheels which run on steel rails. The upper wringer roll is removed by EOT crane or local hoist. A drip tray under the machine will collect the fluid and direct into the mill drip tray.
